- Add the game’s executable to the exception list of any anti-virus or anti-malware software you’re using.
- If you have a video card by NVidia, open up the Nvidia control panel. Go to “Power Management”, change it to “Highest Performance” instead of “Adaptive” (this can also be set specifically for Battle Brothers instead of using the global setting).
- Disconnect any devices you don’t immediately need for playing the game such as joysticks, controllers, headphones and additional monitors. If you usually play without headphones, try playing with headphones plugged in instead.
- Disable any streaming software and close all browser windows playing videos.
- Reboot before starting the game.
