Sounds like it makes sense, as you cant get a little “ahead payment” to feed your men when taking on a long caravan contract.
Another option would be if they pay you part of the sum in advance to cover your expenses.
The reason why its not working like that yet is, that you can break contracts without penalties. We wil adress that during the worldmap reowrk and the implementation of a reputation system.
