Run into this bug twice in a row in a single play session:
– after taking ‘follow the tracks’ contract, there were no tracks around a settlement. Neither in suggested direction (south-west) nor in other directions. Had to cancel such contracts twice because quest was impossible to complete.

After saving and restarting a game, the next ‘follow the tracks’ contract was fine.

Your “show tracks” toggle is in “off” position.

Oops, probably pressed wrong key accidentally. Not a bug then, sorry for false alert.
