"After the Battle" Text Displayed before Any Battle Fought!

[Wargasm]

— Accepted contract to escort caravan from Gelbstadt to Reinbruch (c. 22:33pm)
— Got to Reinbruch and was left standing just outside the town; the caravan seemed to have disappeared into the town, as per usual
— I clicked on the town to try to enter it
— Some orcs appeared nearby and I shifted my course towards them
— An “After the Battle” message popped up, saying that the caravan had been destroyed etc.
— I then chased and killed the orcs, before finally entering the town
