    1.I was just playing and found out,that green forest(terrain type) cross the river(even a grass from it grow up from a river).That works with most part of terrain types in the game.Screenshots included.
    2.Its fully reproducable,tested a few times by generating new game map.All screenshots included.

    Thanks for reporting this. The worldmap will see a lot of work – both in terms of visuals and gameplay – some time after the Goblins, so I’ll handle this then.

    Are you asking if the worldmap after the rework will still be hex-based? If so, yes.
