    What if you could play as monsters. Say you decided to play as a necromancer and you leveled up yourself so you could have more zombies. or a goblin rider as you build up your goblins. or a powerful witch. Just saying would be really fun

    This completely defeats the purpose of all existing contracts and events. No village would let a greenskin or a necromancer enter, let alone hire them. It would require rewriting of all events and backgrounds as those are made for humans, which is unfeasible.
