Battle Brothers used to be fast and run really well on my old machine.
But almost everything in the game takes a lot of time now – city screens loading, battles starting, enemies moving in combat… It’s laggy as hell, probably with a low FPS, though I haven’t checked yet.
What I have done is mess around with the configurations, and it helped some, but not much. Marking ‘Hardware Cursor’ (or something like that) made the mouse go back to its normal speed. I’ve already tried to put it to run as an Admin, with ‘Compatibility Mode’ with Windows XP and deactivating V-Sync.
I believe that the game’s performance has sharply gone down since I changed my CPU from an old i3 to an AMD FX 6300, though I’m not 100% certain of that. Any tips on what I should do?
