    This can only be fixed by manual saving, exiting to the main menu and loading up the save again. Tested extensively and events occur again (sometimes immediately after saving, exiting to main menu and reloading).
    If not done events might not occur for even 30 days

    Something with quicksaving quickloading too often will mess up the event chances somehow, but refreshed when doing the above steps.
