Spellcasters

Just wondering since the goblins have shamans, undead have priests and there are necromancers; will there be any updates that involve spellcasters for players?

Im not talking about fireball hurling wizards, more like druids or necromancers available as playable mercs.

Also i mentioned in another post the question of do spellcasters in BB have fatigue/mana pools for their spells? or can they spam as needed?

Even healers, like paladins that can enchant allies weapons or give hp buffs, things of that sort seems really interesting

id like to see some “religious caster” like preachers and so, buffing maybe the morale, or something else.

Also, some kind of druid “panoramix style” could be nice to have.

but the more i look into the game, the more i see all that kind of “spells” are covered by something else.

Spells, rallying cries, inspiration. They are all just names for mechanics that could be changed thematically and still provide the same purpose. One thing that I do love about BB is that it is themed in such a way that magic does not take on a dominant focus in the combat. I prefer no spell casters and an emphasis on the players being ordinary men, but that’s just my vote. I respect that everyone has their own opinion and taste.

im with you with this. In the beta, one thing i’d love to see was a preach buffing the morale. and guess what? you have your banner. Your rally the troops hability, and so on.

Im in love with this game.
