    Wait, was my solution to OP’s issue just REMOVED ?
    For what reason ? Is helping people against the rules ?

    I can understand you don’t have time to fix all bugs and give answers to everyone, but are you taking time to remove replies giving solutions (or use some poor automated tool resulting in the same) ?

    I’d really like an official answer about this.
    What’s the point of a forum if in addition to not replying to your users, you remove responses from people trying to help ?

    2023-02-06 Edit : Looks like my post mysteriously reappeared now. It took a long time (I kept the tab open and did regular checks), and I’m sad I got no explaination about it, but at least it’s there now.
    Who know, maybe OP will check back to this thread and continue this game someday after all ?!

    I might be too late, but I just tried using a mod allowing more bros, and it fixed your issue in a snap.
    (see attached save)

    The mod I used was “18 bros in battle (27 total)”, which you could find easily on nexusmods.
    It’s not the latest of this kind, but worked well, and let me fire the extra bros&saving before removing the mod and launching the game again to continue as if nothing happened.


    If I can give you an advice for your future runs : never tick “Ironman” again. This isn’t needed as long as you chooses not to cheat anyway !

    I’d probably agree with this, but… as long as we’re just expressing unbacked opinions, I see no reason for OverHype to pay any attention to it.

    Maybe a full retinue review (including sourced bilbiography, like CarveAHole, FilthyRobot & other “influencers” tier lists, hot Reddit/Forum discussions, etc.) about what is useful and what isn’t would look a bit more worth it ?

    Yeah, it’s much more work than a simple post (an doesn’t offer any guaranteed result), but I assume it would get the success chance over 0% :)

    E.g. I just Youtubed’d a random tier list from “FeedingFriendly”, and he does rate the cook as D tier while scavenger goes S.
    And there’s even people defending the alchemist !

    Shouldn’t we focus on boosting like, the minstrel/trader or negotiator first ? Or nerfing the scout ?
    (=> just noticed Negotiator seems to have been buffed with OFAF, taking the faction relation skill from the Agent. Might be useful for Deserters/Northern Raiders now, I guess)

    I like the idea of displaying characters the same way as they’ll be in battle, but did you think of the needed resolution for that ? E.g. What about the Switch version ?

    Also agree about how annoying it is to constantly switch between inventory & bros in towns. This could definitly be improved.

    OTOH, I don’t care about temples or training halls because… what are they for ? :p


    Oh, and I absolutely HATE the main concept of “tryout mod”. I’d accept it for beginner difficulty only.
    IMO, the game is way too grindy, but the things to fix aren’t there. What I want is an incentive to fight something else than brigands or take more contracts (instead of pillaging all wilderness locations, cautiously avoiding any contract asking me to do so because it’d lose any potential cool item inside).
    And also, I’d like my bros to lvl up faster (or start with a higher level) once my campaign is advanced, so I could afford to lose bros much more often. This would encourage taking risks rather than playing a safe and repetitive farming.
