    I dragged an item of armor from a character’s body slot, and dropped it onto the portrait of another character (figured maybe it would auto-equip it). The other character was already wearing a body armor item.

    The dragged and dropped item vanished completely, it seems.

    It likely just went lower down in your inventory list. Scroll down.

    Yes, you will find it if you scroll down. We are on this but it wil take a while to fix!
