    A really important change I believe is the needed for a consumable related perk. Something that makes potion effects greater or last longer. It would also reduce the risk or any addiction related negatives. The benefit of the perk is to get greater use of an underused mechanic which is potion creation. The optimal situation is that it would also open up new character meta builds that always makes overall gameplay more interesting. The idea of a beast hunter like “The Witcher” creating potions is quite cool.

    Currently potion creation is underwhelming but a perk focusing on potions could make a brother with bags and belts and multiple strong potions a viable and interesting option.

    Wow, cool idea! I second that. Also, potions could be made more accessible and more potent (so they don’t just sit in the inventory for legendary battles).

    Absolutely, they are a really cool mechanic but just the implementation was too cautious leading to an overall lack of practical utility. I don’t fault Overhype. It is really difficult to add a new mechanic of stat boosting without making it OP.

    I second this, I really like those strange mushrooms but they dont like my guys, would be nice if there was a perk for potions and mushroom/herbs that made it much less likely for bad side affects and addiction, or maybe even addiction proofing.

    I totally second that, but perks are at an absolute premium for meta builds. Reducing risk of negative effects alone would be too weak to give this perk a chance of ever being picked. It would need to buff the effect and duration of these items aswell – improving the transient stat boost being the primary goal.

    I think this a great idea for a perk, hopefully the devs see this, and for anyone who would claim its op, you can already make alot of op builds, example nimble, duelist, dodge, killing frenz combo but they are only really op in certain situations, just like this would be, which brings good balance. Plus its not that easy to get potions so that would limit its opnes also. I think it would fit perfectly, just make it a higher teir perk like lvl 6 plus.

    Well, that’s my idea dead. Not that I’m sad…. the change to potions is a good one. For new builds well it looks like we will have a few “bags and belts” Grenadier builds lol.

    This is a good idea, I also think more more more consumables in general. I really wouldn’t care if there were similar items with minor differences. Like different “flavors” of the same grenade, it explodes in different appearance but its still just a grenade, maybe weaker but more common alternates…idk

    I personally do really like the pseudo-scarcity where there is this feeling that I should save my holy waters for the right fight. I like that some consumables are much scarcer, but like nets for example are much more common/you can easily seek them out.
