Topic: Other Mercenary Companies

The world of Batte Brothers is in such desperate need of mercenaries that one to three men can be found in every town square offering jobs to the player. So why is it that no other mercenaries exist? I’d like to see other independent companies roaming the countryside in pursuit of bandits or escorting caravans between cities. Settlements that are repeatedly attacked may even hire a band of NPC mercenaries to defend their homes, at least until the player comes to their rescue.
