I think some larger species of monsters would be neat. Even ones that take up multiple hexes, like a dragon or something. Dwarves, Ogres, Elves, etc. All of these would be fitting additions.
And what would the fun in that be? Those are all cookie cutter races that you will find in any fantasy universe ever. All of those are just plain boring. I want to see something unique.
