Autosave Corruption / Constant Ambushes

when i load autosaves that are generated before battles the game starts off with the encounter screen (the one before the battle where you have to click on it to begin the battle). when i then try to enter the battle my game crashes 90% of the time. i got it to work once but then it got stuck on an enemies turn. easily replicateable at least for me.

the next one is kinda weird. no matter what i do enemies always get the jump on me and start me on ambush maps even if i try to attack them. pretty sure it wasnt like that before so i take it as a bug. pretty annoying.
