Quite simple, but I feel this is a cheesy part of the worldmap mechanics which could easily be mended!
Whenever a contract spawns an enemy party (I think only beasts do this) they will aggro on the player and follow you around, making it absolutely effortless for the player to a: pick their favourite battle location, and b: find a friendly party to drag into the battle. I love when this happens naturally and by pure happenstance (like when you’re in a caravan and you get attacked while another caravan party is going by), but this is not that.
