Can´t wait, have to try those new weapons! New enemies are good, but the new weapons are even better! The new blog makes me so excited! So, when will the DLC be released? When the winter is coming?
And I´m just wondering if the new DLC includes battlesisters, I mean, some of the ladies decided to pick up weapons to kill the witches who seduced and killed their husbands, or maybe battlegrandmas, that some of the old ladies decided to pick up weapons to kill the witches who seduced and killed their son. And they are totally immune to charm. Either of them is awesome, ha!

We expect to be working on the DLC for several months and will announce a release date and final feature list once we’re closer to the finish line.

Is there any possibility that a beta-testing version will be made available in the build-up to release, like for the original game?

So far as I can recall, the only Battle Sister thread on this forum in the past year or two was started by someone threatening to boycott the game if they were introduced, whinging that it would undermine the grim realism of necromancers, shamans, skeletons, fragile beggars and cripples in rags squaring up to orc warriors wearing the remnants of tank battalions as body armour, etc. etc.

I would love to see more diverse tile sets for specific locations.

For example having a real graveyard to fight on with gravestones and crypts and broken wall pieces instead of trees and bushes.
Real encampments for orcs, goblins and brigants. I would not even care if those were not randomly generated but had only 2 to 3 premade layouts. It would be so much more immersive to fight in those locations instead of just in the middle of the wilderness like always.

But I get that this would be a lot of work to add with no improvement to the game mechanics. Still this would be a feature I’d love to see and would pay for even if it was the only thing added to the game.

    "I am a Paladin!"
    >OMG, Malthus, there are no damn paladins in Battle Brothers...<
"OK, OK! Then I´m a wrecked down minstrel drunkard pretending to be a paladin, singing so wrong in the midst of battle that even the undead run in fear... Better?!"
