So I just bought this game and all of it’s dlc just a few days ago, and I’m really enjoying it. Nothing has been too hard to understand (mostly due to your entire company being slaughtered if you mess up too bad) except for one thing.
What’s with the random battles that go on? Are they bugged or something? I jumped in to aid the militia of a town that I am allied with thinking that maybe they would thank me in some way (most of the militia consisted of poorly armed cowards), or that I would at least get some easy loot. Instead, the only thing I got was some minor injuries.
I guess what I’m trying to ask is why did nothing happen afterwards? I absolutely carried that militia (and seemingly saved the town) through that fight, yet there was no acknowledgement or even loot from the bodies. Should I even bother joining fights? They seem to only lead to loss of supplies and men.
