Multiple contracts

What do you think about adding the ability to accept multiple contracts, the number of which would be based on your renown score?

A mercenary company can only be hired by one employer at a time as per my understanding of how mercenaries are supposed to work. However, the game should definitely allow at least “negotiating” more contracts while you are hired on another one. Many times I am on a contract and am passing by some cities and can’t even open and negotiate contracts to see which next city would be best to visit after my current contract.
