This bug happens sometimes while i am in combat. It happens a few times against wiedergangers and now in a fight with militia and wiedergangers. If someone of the AI is on the turn it happens nothing. I cant move the camera or anything but the game isnt really freezed. I can still click on retreat but on this way i lost a combat i would have won. Dxdiag and log file is attached.

8. May 2015 at 16:23 #3416einssiParticipantI can verify this. My first battle with wiedergangers went fine. It was a strategic map point called ambush of something. (Not quest related) On my second battle with wiedergangers (a quest to clear an ancient graveyard), I can reproduce the bug by hardquitting the game or retreating, and loading the same save and trying to do the battle again. So far I haven’t been able to get through the battle without the game hanging on AI turn. The game keeps on working, I can retreat, I can click at all the buttons and so on, but the AI turn is neverending. Sometimes it’s AI turn 1, sometimes it’s AI turn 15, and so on. (I’ve tried several times)
The log file shows this:

On a personal note, this was only by far the most epicly best start I have had in the game, and I would’ve slaughtered those nasty ghouls. DAMN.
PS. As this isn’t a hardware issue for sure, I’m skipping the DxDiag

8. May 2015 at 17:37 #3428zombietastischParticipantI dont know if the wiedergangers are the problem. In one case it was a fight against wiedergangers and i had militia on my side and the militia dont do anything and not the wiedergangers. But perhaps wiedergangers are the common denominator.^^
8. May 2015 at 19:51 #3449DerethorParticipantI’ve had this issue with bandits quite a lot recently. Wiedergangers haven’t been occuring as much for me, only once or twice. I’m actually stuck in combat as I type this fighting Orcs, same issue. So I don’t think the problem is just attached to Wiedergangers.
8. May 2015 at 22:12 #3477slanseParticipantSame problem, usual when militia or bandit are involved. seem random, only reproducible time I’ve seen it was between a large group of brigand, myself and the militia form the main town ( starting town).
9. May 2015 at 01:06 #3509QuidmanParticipantSame bug here, and it appear each time I launch this figth (a really easy one, 40 militia and my 8 guys against 13 raiders. Just appear they really wanted to attack me even if I was close to a fort…
Maybe an information, each time, it appear when a character want to move for closing in to a foe.

The only main point who may also have change, is that this time I had to reach the melee (I was considered has helping the fort), but still, 40 guardman, and 13 bandits, and this time no freeze! Good work!

Update: I got through the map after playing through it again, this time with Fullscreen on (rather than borderless windowed) and depth of field off. No idea if that would have an effect, but it’s worth a shot if anyone still has this problem.

12. May 2015 at 00:39 #3792SkunkDaveParticipantSame, it’s 15 to 1 and I have lost no men and it seems a militia with a club has frozen, costing me the battle. Which leads me to my question… is there a command console for this game? Am I able to force kill the opponent, or the offending militia man?
