Here, decompiled both scripts just to show that I am right and song were indeed removed. I don’t understand though why say you didn’t though even after I mentioned it though.

I just double checked with the copy of non modded 1.3.0.25 I had, and well retirement_01.ogg (which is mercenary’s rest) played at one of the villages immediately as I remember it playing. Right now it’s just the city 1-2 (which is a same track) and the village one that plays in the newer versions, please take a look. The lack of variation is really felt once you are visiting towns a lot and the fact it was removed without even noting it does it no justice.

Can you please double check that? I played a lot sibce the release and havent heard that song not a single time be it in village or town and to make sure i extracted the songs. There is ony 1 village song and 2 town ones with different sizes but its the same song. Mercenarys rest is now from what i see is one of retirement songs.

Thats the thing, game isn’t modded. It happens after GOG galaxy updates the game. I will remove the folder completely just to make sure it isn’t some corrupt folder or something though

To clarify, this happens only on campaign battles. Scenario battles seem unaffected by this.

Total Warhammer does this, please give me the option to choose which background I want.
