Hello dear developers!
Since I get Beta update I cannot run BB at all. System asked me to update videodriver and I’ve done this but anyway there is no progress. After I start BB my screen becomes white and then again I see a message which pushes me to update the driver.
Please check the log files attached.
Videocard: radeon hd 6770m at HP Pavillion laptop. Thanks a lot in advance for your support!
6. September 2016 at 23:45 #17105RapKeymasterPlease follow the instructions here and attach to this thread or send to contact@overhypestudios.com your logfile and DxDiag.txt.
Just to be sure, you can find the most recent video drivers for your AMD Radeon HD 6770M here.
I don’t know what those files are that you already attached, but they don’t belong to Battle Brothers. I recommend disabling whatever ‘Game Overlay’ is while running the game as it might interfere with its rendering.
8. September 2016 at 20:00 #17159OldGreyBeardParticipantRap, when you mention “Game Overlay”, would that include the Steam overlay? As this is a Radeon HD series, it reminded me of that mysterious crash I was having a couple of weeks back.
In a single player game, there's no such thing as cheating. It's merely "creative manipulation of the default settings"!

19. October 2016 at 01:00 #17670TheLastCandleBurnsParticipantHello guys!
Sorry for late reply, but I was spending “great” time at hospital :) Anyway I’m fine, don’t worry, haha :)
Dear Rap,
Could you please tell me where can I find log file you asked for? I took the first one in Steam folder. Game folder doesn’t contain any txt file (or just stupid me cannot find it).
Updating the drivers and disabling “Game overlay” option both do not help to solve the problem… Version 0.7.0.12.19. October 2016 at 01:02 #17671TheLastCandleBurnsParticipantAnd yes, I mean Steam overlay which OldGreyBeard mentioned in this topic.
19. October 2016 at 01:05 #17672RapKeymaster19. October 2016 at 01:13 #17673TheLastCandleBurnsParticipantHere they are.
Correct? :)Attachments:
19. October 2016 at 01:14 #17675TheLastCandleBurnsParticipantHmmmm… Log file is not txt and your site doesn’t allow to upload it.

October 2016 at 01:38 #17678TheLastCandleBurnsParticipantThe drivers from link you mentioned in your post doesn’t compatible with my videocard. After installing it seems like I have no drivers at all and my screen is 640 x 480 and doesn’t satisfy me :) Of course I’ve made the backup and install the most recent drivers from HP site.
21. October 2016 at 01:56 #17697TheLastCandleBurnsParticipantProblem’s solved.
The main topic is that my laptop has switchable graphic adapter system (Intel VGA for energy saving mode and AMD Radeon for “heavy” applications). The problem looks as following: you can use only the drivers from the official website of the laptop’s manufacturer which provides a pack of old versions of drivers for each videocard and doesn’t update them. If you want to update drivers separately using the drivers from VGA manufecterer’s site you cannot switch between graphic adaptors, cannot change the brightness of screen, and overally cannot use your videocards correctly.
I started to investigate how to manage this and found out that this is very widespread problem for the laptops with switchable VGA system and it concerns not only HP laptops of course. Finally the most useful way to solve this problem is to install the pack from this guy http://leshcatlabs.net/about-us/ And I’m happy how it works, Batlle Brothers have returned to my life :)Sorry for disturbing you in this thread guys. I hope my topic will help someone who may face with the same problem.
