Zoom in on mouse position instead of center of screen

The title says it. On maps where many cities lie near the border of the map it is tiresome to zoom in on them as you cannot center the screenposition over the city and when you zoom in you have to scroll again. I hope you understand my point.

I certainly do! Been annoyed many times while browsing map in search of locations.

It would really help if zoom would be centered on mouse pointer location. (at least with mousewheel, as keyboard-zoom-ppl might disagree)
Or you can make it an option in ‘control’ settings.

Good point indeed. There is a hotkey to center on the band already so it should be no problem if the zoom would go on the mouse or if centered on the band.
