Humm, you will agree with me that the above comment from cartandweed is a spam, ain’t it? There’re no button to report it though…

Well, to bounce back on the subject, I’d love to see more trade as well but as you quoted, this is definitely not a trader brother game.
Yet, there are some brothers that are good merchants, aren’t they? They lack battle skill but they allow you to buy or sell products with profit or at good price… The problem with Battle Bother is that we never keep track of previous cities prices and we can’t see what are the products sold in the city unless you visit it.

Seriously, if you are really into trading games, I’d advice you to take a close look at games like “Merchant of the Skies” or “Merchants of Kaidan

ForceEcho, thank you for your reply.

I just want to let you know that I’m not a new member of this forum at all. I might have been away for a while but I was here from the very beginning. I am more active on twitter as it was an effective way to get in touch with the developers.

I could not understand why the battle sisters could not be part of the game, even if we had the ability to choose to add or remove them as an option in the game, the same way we can decide what will be the late game crisis. If these characters were not already created, I would understand why they wouldn’t add them but as these characters are already designed. I was wondering what may be the reason not to include them? I’m not a girl but from what I know, some women were great fighters (http://www.medievalists.net/2014/07/ten-medieval-warrior-women/) and I’m certain they could have been part of mercenary companies.

Please list me topics talking about female mercenaries as the only one I found did not give any reasons except a big « No » for adding battle sisters and that lack of explanation was suspicious for me. It sounded like people did not want to add women for misogynist reasons.

If there are technical reasons for not adding them, I would say sorry for my misunderstanding. But since battle sisters were intended to be part of the game since the beginning, I’m just curious about what made the developers change their mind.

Are there any topics listing both, what are the members ideas that will be abandoned by the developers and the one that the developers decided to add in their upcoming DLC.

By the way, it could be great if they could sell a brand new Art Book with the updated content from their new DLCs (including the free one).

I love the idea too. Hope we’ll also be able to skip the first battle tutorial or at least speed it up, because when I had to spend a lot of my time looking for a good map seed. It was very frustrating to start this battle all over again and again until I find a world map that fit my needs.

As I have both a Mac and a PC. I would have loved to play this game on my Mac as well. I have bought the game on both GOG and Steam. In order to support the developers. That is certainly one of my favorite game ever. Since the first time I played it. I couldn’t stop and spent endless hours to set up my battle brothers company and try to survive in this hostile world. After seeing all the news enemies that will arrive with the new DLC, I can’t wait but at the same time, I think the game will get harder and we won’t be able to save as many men as we used to be able so far. New beasts seems won’t be easy to destroy. Hopefully, we’ll get new weapons in order to fight them.

Hope to know the release date ASAP!

I have found a solution for the GOG version.

We have to right-click on the Battle Brothers shortcut icon. Then change the graphic processing Unit, choose the intergrated graphic instead of Nvidia and then it should work again (see screenshot below)

I did not find a solution for the steam version though… as I did not find a way to change the graphic processing unit.

Thank you for your kind reply. I noticed there is an icon that look like a scale and help me to zoom in/out. At first I thought it was a bug but in fact it was just that in montain or hill when my mercenary fight at a different stage, some part of the screen become dark.

    I have another great idea.

It would be great if we could play as Orc and have the mission to gather all other Orc clan and make an army to invide the human cities. It’d be a nice DLC. I noticed there are a lot of different orc so we could make a nice team against human.

Thank you for your reply hruza.

After playing to Battle Brother a couple of hour, I had some new suggestions that came to my mind.

    – It would be great if we could have healer in the group, someone who can heal team mate that are near him or, why not, having some sort of druide or sorcerer that could also use magic against enemy. As the Battle Brother world have Orcs, Werewolf and the like, it wouldn’t surprise me to find some magics in this game and it would be very handy at battle.

    – I would love to see different kind of elves in the game, just like the one of the Elder Scroll V. The forest elves could hire us for either getting ride of orcs or white elves, etc.

    – I’d be great if we could have Elves, Dwarf, Orcs or Werewolf, and Magicians in our team…

It could be nice to have Dwarf region just like the Orcs’one.

Concerning food, it would be great to know the mechanics in order to give order to my team mate to either fish, hunt animal or look for food in the forest. I don’t really like it to be a random event as I sometime am very low on food and this kind of action could be very handy.

If you can’t face an army of 24 orcs, it’s because man player voted to reduce the number of mercenary to only 10 or 12… which is a total non sense… I wish we could get as many mercenary as we need… a 24 25 team size would be great in order to face a big army.

Sorry Waterd, but I do really hope they won’t reduce the team size to 10! I do really like managing a huge team rather, it’d be better to have the choice to set our team the number of mercenaries we want at the beginning of the game just like when we decide if there will be late crisis or not like in the game setting of the game “Don’t Starve” where you can manage many event of the game by deciding weather they will happen in the game or not.

In future update, I’d love to be able to have ride horses for my mercenaries to get from point A to point B faster than now. I feel like it take a lifetime to go from one city to another, but unlike others, I really like the map size and wouldn’t mind having a bigger one with more cities and possibilities.

I like the cities’ design, it recalls me Darkest Dungeon’s city. I would love to add more possibilities within the city such as visiting the lord’s house.

It’s be great to create more dialogue between team member, I liked the way you added dialogue already, but I’d like to add possibility to talk anytime or at camp time with my team mate and it could modify their mood in good or bad for next battles.

I’ll create a new post to add my list of suggestion.
