Topic: A Question about Villages and Quests

I have several towns now that are so poor that they sell nothing but food, rarely offer quests despite being surrounded by enemy spawns. I’m led to believe that villages offer quests based on how much money the village has, which would explain why the villages aren’t sending me to clear out the spawns. The villages also seem to be too poor to form caravans, as I have never seen any despite hanging around the village for several days. What I’m wondering is whether that means that the village is too far gone to be recoverable or not. The only quests that these villages manage to hand out are the occasional delivery quest. Do those quests contribute to a village’s wealth at all?

This was due to a bug which has been fixed for the next update.

I have the same bug and I see you fixed it already, thanks you are awesome !

But I have a question, each time you patch the game, do we need to restart a campain in order for the changes to take effect ?
I see that when you tweak the perk, it take place immediatly, it is the same for the last patch ? (Update 0.4.0.36)

Changes take effect immidiately with the patching. So far my testing company is from the very start of early access and seems to be ok. At this moment patches mostly contain fixes and changes to existing things, when new mechanics will be added probably a new start would be the best choise.

We take great care to not destroy savegames by patching until it is absolutely neccessary.
It will happen eventually, but we try to avoid it.
When the time comes we will warn you in advance of course :)
