Being chased by the vamps, city garrisons wont fight them? Huh?

So there is a 6 vamps stack chasing me.

The thing is, when i go to any city in order to get help from a local garrison, because, 6 vamps, right, nothing happens. They come to me, attack me, and then basically fight only my party.

This cant be right.

Settlements may not send their militia if they consider it suicide. In this case, the vampires aren’t attacking them but you, some mercenaries, so it’s not really worth dying over.

But what city would allow 6 monsters to enter their gates?

Plus what am i supposed to do? Im being chased by a group of monsters i cant defeat.

Edit: ok they gave up chasing me half a map later, thank god.

In a single player game, there's no such thing as cheating. It's merely "creative manipulation of the default settings"!
