I pulled bunch of snakes to combat with souther armies. I was on the same side with the souther armies. Engineers started very far away from the mortar and they tried to directly charge to snakes with bare fists. Even after few turns they did not tried to man the mortar but charge. It sounds cool and badass but seems like a bug.
