    Wouldn’t it be cool to have some sort of command structure in place for you mercenary company? I was thinking something like in ‘the Guild 2’, where you could go into politics and rise through the ranks, maybe even become the Sovereign.

    Imagine a hard battle where your Commander gets killed, everybody panics except good old Lieutenant KillAllinSight. Eventually winning the day, the company faces an election (or not, it could be the player who picks a new commander) to choose their next leader.
