I know that it is maybe too late for suggestions due to the next week roadmap announcement. But better late than never.
How about to allow a company to buy some property in cities, castles or vaillages? This can be a place to 1) store some items (i see many peoples do not like to sell jewelry and so am i). 2) a place for second half (or more) of our roster – a bench with substitutes. It can solve a problem about what to do with extended roster when first dozen was beaten on a battlefield and what then – another battle or company will disperse whilst it still has some tough guys versus a pair of cripple from enemy side. You can still left 12 men in company list, but with places where others wait to replace them. I think 50-100K crowns can be sufficient price for a such appartments. It can be accessible through a mainhall or castles icons on a settlement window – UI guess. Some window alike market window but with mens too.9. wagon is more proper, to store your stuffs, and i heared that they will add it into the game in the future. hopefully they will permite the posibility to lose your wagon during the adventure at deadly dificulty, in certain situation such as an ungraceful retreat, and lose your equipments form the inventory along with the wagon.9. Buying simple house, later upgrading with stuff to look more cool and so on. The better upgraded house = the better renown bonus and so on.

10. April 2016 at 10:36 #14101UlrichParticipantYeah! This could be main target of the game! Because in this game You are allready injured and commmanding for merceneries to get money. Because, you want stop life like this and quit from mercenery life. I see here good way to create main campaign story.

But this is good idea about caravan train — MOBILE BASE with some more item capacity, upgrades, may be with few non-combat special characters.

It could be based on the company’s renown and reputation, but not restricted to it, other factors could be considered, like the relation with the factions, how many bandit leaders, hedge knigts and orc warlords were killed, if they razed more graveyards than goblin camps for example, they could anger a necromancer that went after some of the brothers, even after they retired, etc

But the most interesting scenario would be a brother becoming a living legend because of his exploits together with the companym he could become a swordmaster when he becomes old, or even a hedge knight, going solo with the best gear and weapon, being a one man company until he dies a glorious death…
