Folks who play very late game share that scale male armor (240) negates goblin poison because the damage to health isn’t enough to cause poison. Watching videos of folks in very late game, it’s kind of apparent the amount of damage that punches through seems to be very little for bros in very heavy armor (But I’m not certain).

Looking at the damage when equipping a crossbow , it says “Inflicts 50-70 damage to hitpoints, of which 0-49 can ignore armor”. Why does it scale down all the way to zero? Is it completely random or is it based on another statistic, like how MUCH armor?

Can someone confirm this observation? That having more armor reduces how much damage actually ignores armor?

Yes. 10% of remaining armor durability is subtracted from the ignore armor damage.

THANK YOU! I always suspected but was never certain. Very nice!
