    Hi there,

one thing that would greatly improve my playing experience would be a button in the “you are fighting now” screen where you can prepare your men for battle. It would just link to the regular inventory screen where you can rearrage you men, switch weapons and maybe exchange an injured merch.

Background: During battle, my lancers switch from crossbox to polearm but literally in 100% of all cases, I forget to switch it back before the next battle because I don’t have a certain moment in my routine to do this. If I’d have the simple button the moment a fight is going to start, I would be reminded and I could do this.

I think it would make total sense because for example the equipped crossbows are loaded on battle start. When did the guys do this? The moment when they line up and prepare themselves for battle.

Would be happy to hear some ideas about that from the community :)

If you go to “Options”->”Gameplay” then under the “Flow” heading there should be a “Reset Equipment after Battle” option that does what you’re after. Hope this helps! :)

That said, there are cases where this might be useful, such as equipping axes before fighting Schrats.

Yeah I agree man, a “you are fighting now” or “vs” pre-combat screen would really visually enhance the game as well. It would be a huge art opportunity if we had some nice graphics pop in from either side right before a battle. It would not be very hard to implement some simple sliding cards with images of enemies and your brothers with a big “VS” in between the cards. Game time could be paused at this screen, and buttons allowing you to adjust your loadout and possibly access some enemy information on the other side.

This would also be a very positive change with minimal negatives. I do the same thing in the game now basically, it just requires me to pause the moment before combat starts so I can adjust my loadout. It’s really doesn’t require much skill to do so, and therefore I don’t think it would even affect the games balance.

Mostly though I just want some cool art on a VS screen, good idea SirRichard.
