Units formed out of random sprites

I recently downloaded the new DLC, and removed all of my older mods that worked with Beasts and Exploration in order to run it. However, upon loading up the game, I found that all of the enemies as well as my company consisted of a sprite bug that I remember seeing before, where instead of the properly generated sprites, they were a mixture of textures in the entire game. I’m unsure what caused this, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game, and it still persists. The bug is constant, it doesn’t change when I begin a new save. Any help would be appreciated

Either you didn’t really remove all mods, or your download got corrupted. Manually delete the game’s folder and then download the game again. If you’re playing on Steam, verify the integrity of your game files afterwards as described here.
