No. I loaded the save and the encounter happened a bit later down the road. No crash that time. I only lost the time spent in the original battle due to autosave before combat. I was only 4 turns in and the battle was easy, so I don’t care much. May be more frustrating if it happens late in a very difficult encounter that’s going well. Thanks for your assistance. Again, sorry for losing the log file.

Bump. Does the stack trace help?

That’s a shame. Must have been some issue in windows explorer. I continued playing after reporting the bug, so the log file is gone now. I did read it before posting and it indicated missing files (randomely named?) and ended in a stack trace. I did take a screenshot of the error message popup which included the same stack trace. I’ve attached this screenshot. Hopefully that’s enough. If not, I’m sorry for losing the log file.

    Thanks for pointing this out.

As far as I can tell, your answer and the FAQ only address my alternative (inferior) suggestion to one idea:

An alternative is a hall of fame / cemetary button.

I believe that tombstones would be much more immersive. As would burial events (and quests/rewards).

    I forgot:
“Who should I replace the dead guys with? Not sure.”

    Thanks for fixing it!
When will the build be released?

Modified the screenshot to remove 2 additional monitors. I hope it’s still not too big.
