Game crashes when trying to change resolution

Hello as the titles states I’m having an issue where the game will crash when I try to change resolutions. Not sure what my problem is or how to go about fixing it, I don’t seem to have these issues if I play other games. Thanks for your time and any assistance you can provide.

Try starting the game with admin rights and adding both the game’s executable and the save folder to the exception list of any anti-virus software you’re running.
