Topic: Game not starting on startup.

    Screen is white for ten seconds or so, then it says check the log file or something and terminates the program. No idea whats going on.

    According to your DxDiag.txt, your video drivers are from 2010. I suggest you update to the most recent version from 2013 here.

    I wasn’t sure if they were outdated or not. I downloaded a driver updating software thing that said they were up to date, i’ll get back to you after i complete the download. Thanks!

    I updated my drivers using the link you gave me, and it still gives me the “critical exception” crap it did before, even with a full software restart.

    The same thing happens to me with a game called Airmech, An unrelated game and a problem i don’t expect you guys to do anything about of course (Not your game, anyways.) I am only mentioning this because i have no idea what could be causing the problem and any information i can get on this is welcome.

    Another game, one that requires a much better graphics card, does run on this system, although with screen tearing. Just another morsel

    I know this must suck and you guys have probably dealt with dozens of submissions with this crap, and i know bugs like this are an indie dev’s worst nightmare. I just wanna say i appreciate you guys taking time out of your day to help me out, and this is probably some of the best customer service i’ve seen in a long time. Thank you guys for all you do!

    Have you tried the old_version? That fixed it for me.
    In steam, right click -> Properties -> Betas -> old version
