Oh, that’s not a bad idea! Make it conditional instead and tie it to Backgrounds to make them more interesting and useful. Why not?

That’s a good idea! Travel could also be sped up to even higher values. I already use Cheat Engine to speed up the game but including that feature would be better.
Yes but optics and lenses date far back. I don’t think it’s impossible to imagine some sort of device that corrects or enhances vision.
