ForceEchoParticipantTo be honest the only change I would make is reducing the cost for top tier background try outs, at the very most I could see one talent randomly being revealed but that’s it. I just think it would be too OP then.

ForceEchoParticipantNo no no disagree, the point of Battle Brothers is that there will be bad times. It can’t be sunshine and legendary items on every corner. For an epic run to be truly epic… you need to have disappointing hires and manage to endure. Once you get that duelist recruit with 3 stars melee attack 3 stars fatigue and 3 stars defense…. that’s when you post screenshots to the forum and bask in glory. The game has to have special moments and in order to facilitate that it has to have shitty moments too.

ForceEchoParticipantI’m unsure, in one way it is of great benefit to veteran players that wish to control their run and move towards the next haughty end-game objective…. but equally it may be immersion/story breaking for the casual player that gets forewarned of the crisis end. There is positive and negatives so I am on the fence. As a veteran player I would be selfish and say it is a good idea haha

ForceEchoParticipantNever mind….. I had one request….. add a Noble House contract where you must assist a Noble House army to defend against a Northern War Host !!!! That would be so cool and fun ! Footmen and Sergeants against ravers and armored unholds !!!! EPIC

ForceEchoParticipantPaul, I was very impressed on Friday when I saw the Armoured Unholds of the Northmen faction. Well done, it isn’t what I foresaw at all for Armoured Unholds I thought they would be a Greenskin unit if you ever followed my suggestion – but what you have done is even cooler !!!!
It is so thematic !!! The Northmen are true masters of the North and have even mastered the venerable Unholds of the barren tundra.
As always the artwork and the way you imagined these lumbering brutes – is brilliant. From the description these new units will lead to some interesting battle stories worth retelling to any mercenary captain from Adlerfeste to Konigswasser !Cheers

Please have some more patience, as I am trying to find some new art which I can post without spoiling stuff…
Yes absolutely understand, there was only 2 things that were art related. 1. If you find the time/find it in your big heart…. can you make Zweihander helmet paintable using the art assets already available? Colour schemes are pretty much covered. Blood Red colour is only new issue. A lot of people I have asked about this and some people won’t play a seed if the noble house colour they want isn’t on the seed because of this helmet. 2. My spiel about the red and white Castle Noble house how it would match noble mail item etc., but aint nobody got time for that – which is fine lol

ForceEchoParticipantJust a comment from myself, I always hope Paul you don’t think we are pushy when we give suggestions like I have with the noble house Red Castle White Background.
The reason I visit the forums and post about things is that I love this game. I have great passions for this game and your work as developers. I personally think that small details can make a big difference to the overall feel or character of a game so that is why I post on small details that might seem trivial otherwise!

Hey there! soo….I talked to the guys and they reminded me of the reason we dropped this Banner. It’s just too similar to the “Arrow” Banner and color scheme. Although the knight helmet with the castle is pretty awesome, the noble houses would look very much alike regarding their colors. That’s the reason we decided to just implement one of the two.
By the way, we got a little something in the works. First hints will be dropped on friday, so look forward to that :)

Ah I see it makes sense though that’s a shame. I would like it if the background colour was white with a red castle. There is no red and white faction and the layout would match the new “Noble Mail” added in Beasts and Exploration. Would need to take care to change the Bandit banner with upside down Castle faction banner to match! Possible too much work for a minor thing.
Eyes peeled for Friday sure ! :))
