evs said somewhere that making the cities rebuild themselves (let alone make missions for it) would be too much of a workload on their sole programmer. I don’t really get that as it is probably the biggest problem with the game, but it’s understandable.
Do you remember where they said that?
I am kinda surprise to see it as a big issue with programming, not saying it would be super simple but they are already generating cities and settlements, so it should be pretty straightforward to adapt that.
It is really a mechanic that needs some reworking.
frank_willParticipantExactly, it gets kinda boring as it takes quite long to get a brother up to your party level, so there should be some workaround, maybe even leave a brother at a training hall for a week or so and come back and he gained a level or simply get to hire higher level brothers later in the game.
frank_willParticipantThey are indeed kinda OP, I hope devs consider some small nerf on them. They cannot kill lvl 6-7 guys in turn sometimes, either change their weapon, remove nine lives or much better reward for killing them.
frank_willParticipantBeing hit just once per surrounding enemy would probably be the best.
frank_willParticipantThat kinda sucks, it can potentially make the game unplayable for the ones that like to play long campaigns, also because you are not really much notified when a city is under attack to try to prevent it.
We have to consider that sometimes just one or two cities/town have a certain building, Veteran Hall/Temple etc… so if they are gone, that game dynamic is out.Devs what are your thoughts on this? Do you think it can be changed? Make cities a bit more dynamic in the way they get razed and rebuilt, maybe just make it come back with no special building and after a while also those are rebuilt?
Just would like to know what you think about it :)
frank_willParticipantDo you guys have an idea how long it takes, I had some cities destroyed for already quite long?
frank_willParticipantWould be nice to have a words from the devs about this, I think I read modding was considered a possibility, I know the new beta is just out and is still early to think about modding, but once the game is solid, it could be a great way to expand it and open it to the community.
frank_willParticipantAmazing work as usual!!
Getting more and more impatient for the new patch!
frank_willParticipantYes please, stats!
I have 137 Hours in game, and you made such great progress, the game is getting truly great, but I really do not like not being able to keep track of my fallen brothers and having stats about them. I know you devs maybe see it as a minor addition, but would be nice to know if you are still thinking about it.
frank_willParticipantLove this idea, especially having a wanted dead board.
AS well, after the fight is done, would be nice to have to actually collect the head and bring it back, as an inventory item.frank_willParticipantYes, I purchased the game at the very beginning and asked this both here and on Steam, Devs said it would come, it is something I really miss in this game to be honest. AS well for lost members.
frank_willParticipantI think something similar has been discussed before in the forums, but I do not remember the answer from the Devs and cannot find it now. I think it would be a great addition indeed, to give some more goals to reach in game.
frank_willParticipantIn the FAQ they stated that they will add more stats about the brothers, but It may not be a priority, I’d really like to see more statistic too, It’s kinda nice to know how makes more kills of the whole brothers. As we have a battle report, it would be nice at least to have the number of kills next to the brothers name, while we wait for more detailed stats.
frank_willParticipantLike the idea of pets, maybe even have a new class, to combine with them, like wardog trainer, or something like that.
frank_willParticipantNice to know, thanks Rap!
