    Why there is no pure white helmet paint? There is a white banner with black crow, so it would fit nicely. Or was it that I never encountered it?

    By the way, I think there is only one “soldier” background – it’s “Retired Soldier”, that has debuffed HPs.
    Could we also have just normal “Soldier” background as well, who looks like guys from noble house armies? It could be kinda like a transitional recruit between caravan hand / squire / militia and sellsword / hedge knight.

    Could you add one or two fancy hats and increase probability of noble hats appearing in the shop?
    I woud like to outfit my arbalesters in some kind of uniform. :-)

    It doesn’t make much sense that a great sword, great hammer, as well as puny dagger all do 1 damage to shield in case of normal attack. Besides, I don’t think you can actually use sword or hammer to “split” a shield.
    Maybe shields should take different amount of damage from different weapons when you block normal attacks, and “Split Shield” should be axe only skill (I don’t know how to modify it so that it could actually be useful in this case)? Or get rid of “Split Shield” altogether.
    Also shields could take less damage if they are metallic (orcish).

    I think I already saw someone talked about it somewhere, but I can’t seem to find it anymore, so I just post it here.

    The “Try Out” option does not look very useful. Obviously, something like that suggests itself, so that user won’t rely completely on RNG.
    But how about replacing “Try Out” with something like “Take a closer look” which could be more expensive, for example, but can show potential talents of a recruit instead? Something like:
    HP (*?)
    Melee Attack (**?)
    Melee Defence (***?)
    etc.

    I think even suggestion about talents of a recruit is more important than some additional negative (or positive) trait.

    Yeah, I also thought that game became slower after recent update.

    I was fighting with brigands together with another mercenary company. When one of mercenaries struck a bandit with 3 headed flail, game froze for a second or two and then crashed with some error message (sorry I didn’t save it. ((( ). However, the same guy managed to hit another bandit with said flail in previous round or so no problem.
    So, maybe you should check how 3 headed flail is implemented in the code once more or something?
    Sorry if that wasn’t much of a help.

    Hi, I’m new here,

    So glad that the game wasn’t abandoned after all!

    Anyway, I browsed through couple of topics and it seems people already touched all of the possible suggestions that I had in mind myself. Guess it shows that I’m not the only one smart here. :-)

    Well, since everything what I wanted seem to have been mentioned already, I just wanted to ask if it is possible to add different battle zones? Right now we have only forest and hills, but it would be great to have actual tombs, castles and ruins and stuff, so that if you attack bandit camp, for example, you’ll fight in actual camp, with stockades and everything. Would be great to have actual town siege battle as well.

    Also, have you considered adding mounted units, so that it’s not only goblins who can ride things?
