AbelParticipant
The art is, as always, magnificent! I really liked the depiction of the last blog hyenas too. Keep up the great work, Paul!
AbelParticipantInteresting ideas. I’ll definitely give this mod a look.
Did you draw the icons by yourself?AbelParticipantWow, cool idea! I second that. Also, potions could be made more accessible and more potent (so they don’t just sit in the inventory for legendary battles).
AbelParticipantAlways nice to have more insight into your drawing process! Thanks, Paul! I really liked the Nachzehrer in the background :) !
AbelParticipantProblem is if enough spiders are spawned they can ‘rally’ and attack again. An early end would prevent that.
AbelParticipantThe attention to details in all your works is amazing!
I used one of the screens you did a while back as a background and I was so impressed by the realism and sharpness of the landscape that I wondered if you had painted over a photography: http://battlebrothersgame.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/landscape5.jpgAbelParticipantThank, you! Looks awesome :) ! Now, to work!
AbelParticipantHey Paul!
Would you share a high resolution image of the Orc Man Splitter? I’m working on a mod to add a Named version of the latter as well as Named Undead weapons. I have no drawing skills so I figured I’d reuse your models and make some recoloring and patchworks. For Undead weapons, I found an image there: http://battlebrothersgame.com/dev-blog-85-ancient-dead-part/. It already has a good resolution. For the Man Splitter, the art book has one but it’s fuzzy around the edges.AbelParticipantSarissofoi, from my understanding the new Ambition to further increase the inventory size (‘wagon’) is repeatable. I think Malros had the longest campaign among beta testers and if you check his videos you should see a very high number of slots.
Also, the base size of the inventory has been increased by 9 so there’s a little more room to accommodate for the new items in the early game.
AbelParticipantInteresting! I agree he really looks like an Emperor. He appears in perfect control, relaxed but still menacing with the sword close at hand. It says: “I’m magnanimous but I can be ruthless too”. The scariest of warnings :) !
AbelParticipantWell spotted! It looks very much alike indeed.
AbelParticipantThanks Paul for still sharing new content!
This statue looks like it was inspired by Roman statues. Would it have anything to do with the infamous ‘Emperor’ :) ?AbelParticipantWell spotted! After reading you I actually stopped to look carefully at the picture.
Yes, I thought Lindwurm bones as well. The head definitely looks lizard like.AbelParticipantThat’s a good idea, really! It fits perfectly with the new system like you say.
AbelParticipantAll right, this is a good idea! It reminds me Pillars of Eternity where you can assign your characters to quests and adventures of their own. The character cannot be used but in exchange you have a chance to get items and other bonuses.
It could also be used as a secondary Roster. I wouldn’t mind seeing it expanded a bit. -
