An idea came to mind, what if you put an anatomical heart in the flesh eaters banner?
Idk if it would work or if it would be too much trouble, but I liked it so much!17. August 2016 at 16:58 #16579SuperCaffeineDudeParticipant
A squad of men were sent to dig the latrines instead of eat supper for gambling and, in the case of of the victor, trying to purchase the services of the general’s wife on the pretense the fair lady was a whore.
Upon returning from their duties they found their comrades dead from eating a poisoned rabbit stew, who did it… we know not, but these men did conclude that was the luckiest game of chance they had ever played.
Their Banner is a colorful section of silk cut from a tent, painted over with the sigil of a rabbit’s foot aimed towards the sky with arrow and spear locked behind it, the banner itself is festooned with lucky-charms of copper-coin, horseshoe, dice and the like.17. These are awesome indeed Paul!
The banshee beggar is great… A suggestion maybe to make it a bit smaller on the banner so that the sicle can stand out more?
Here are two more suggestions then :)
Name : “the Oaken Brotherhood”
Banner : Inspired by both the Basque and Lui Pei pacts (with Zhang Fei and Guan Yu) of swearing blood brotherhood under an oak tree, I would have a classic oak tree like this
BUT I would add a bloody gash on the tree.
Medieval activism. These three men became brothers under the shadow of the oak tree, blood brothers. Their aim was to bring panacea to the ills of their world, tired of hierarchy and Darwinism (although that man was not around yet off course) they pledged to form a band of brothers from all walks of life to share in their vision.
Name: “The Phantom Loon”
A loon , but pale and ghostly on a midnight blue background.
Three warriors from different backgrounds in search of their soul heard the same ghastly howl that night. It brought them beyond their power to the site of the massacre. Together they responded, and they became for ever brothers in arms. The loon still howls at times when the campfire starts to smoulder down, although never reveals itself. It still warns them that their souls belong to a common destiny….

Name: Gold Reapers
Background: Petty farmers grow mad against the merciless tax collectors, so they rounded up crude weapons and drunken neighbours and murdered anyone with worth to their name in the frenzied villas. Their lust for noble blood and bloody gold grows bolder by the murder. If it weren’t for clever opportunists and natural leaders among the mob, they’d all be bandits in no time.
Pole: A farmers pitchfork holding up a centered banner. Golden jewelry entangles the prongs, drooping across the banner like cobwebs or vines.
Banner: A bundle of golden wheat and a blood covered sickle crossing each other like pirate bones. There’s A darkly coloured background to contrast with the bright yellow wheat symbol and shimmering gold.

Okay Guys, thats it for now.
I originally only wanted to make three banners, now I’ve got six. There were lots of cool ideas and stories, but I cant paint them all.
These are the banners I’ll polish and put into the game. Maybe we’ll have another session like this some time in the future, it was a lot of fun for me.
Cheers!18. August 2016 at 14:05 #16590DanubianParticipant

Beautiful polish!!!! The widowmakers is my next one… I also like Banshee Beggars – haha ok I like all of them will be hard choosing. :)
Thanks for this interactive round! Enjoyed reading everyone’s contributions!18. August 2016 at 16:37 #16592SuperCaffeineDudeParticipant
Love the way you made the Bastard’s flag drape at the top with the lining and bling, very flash love it, the mongolian-esk flag is also very nice.
If I were to make suggestions perhaps the heart banner with 6 knives (3 top and bottom) would crop better, for the heart maybe a flat highlight around the inside of the border would help it pop.
Like Danubian said though they’re all fantastic dude18. August 2016 at 21:00 #16593WillsamaParticipant
