Hey thanks, I did check out the Steam forum, and I was surprised how active that forum still was :)
Johnsmith24601ParticipantNever get into a fight that you can’t win. How? Have one beggar brother striped totally naked and put all the rest in reserve. The beggar marathon runner can often outrun the enemies. If he can’t, just hit the retreat button and deal with a little injury for just one man. The point of this is that you can always pick which battle to fight. This is especially important in the early game, as you can actually find a lot of contracts that don’t require fighting. For example, if a merchant tells you to “obtain x item at y location”, this usually means that you can just go in with your marathon runner, retreat and then finish the mission.
Johnsmith24601ParticipantWaaaaait a minute….How come there’s no doctor background?!!!!! Or field medic? lol
Johnsmith24601ParticipantYeah, I get the feeling that the undead apocalypse crisis is the easiest. Your mercs can just maul down hordes of undead without even breaking a sweat, whereas facing off another mercenary band is usually very challenging, especially if the other team has a sword master.
Oh yeah, and then there’s the orcs, fuck the orcs.

Johnsmith24601ParticipantI actually stopped taking these contracts altogether…Most of the time it’s a guaranteed wipe for your whole party because you just can’t beat 3+ enemy group at around the same time…especially early on
Johnsmith24601ParticipantFast adaptation should be your first pick for ANY character, seriously. Your brothers start out basically blind and need all the help they can get to even hit their targets. And then you should get nine lives for all those cheap MEAT SHIELDS that you hired ;) Like the beggars and cripples…yeah, those guys aren’t gonna last long anyway.

February 2017 at 01:54 in reply to: I don't get why you can't just cut off undead heads while they're down… #19402Johnsmith24601ParticipantGrove_Knight: Nah, I’m talking about the bags and pelts perk! Seriously, that allows you to carry like, what, 4 or 5 weapons at the same time? You have to carry some of those in your back pack, there’s no way you can just whip it out from your batman utility belt lol

Therefore, everything’s cool” I’m so sick of that.
Also, to Grove_Knight: I mean, yeah…the guys can already pull weapons from their backpacks mid-battle…So I really don’t see why what I suggested would be considered “unrealistic” in this game.
Johnsmith24601ParticipantThis thread came out before the latest update ;) and no, we didn’t miss it ;) cuz we love this game =)
Johnsmith24601ParticipantThat sounds extremely unsafe lol
Johnsmith24601ParticipantThis has to be like the number one requested feature…I simply don’t get why this hasn’t been added into the game yet. Mount and Blade had it like eons ago when dinosaurs still roamed the earth.
Johnsmith24601ParticipantMy highly armored band (~105 armor on average) slaughtered 3 groups of direwolves like it was nothing…moral of the story, get better armors ;) Spears and shields help a lot too, but armors are just awesome :)
Johnsmith24601ParticipantCan’t see it even when you’re on top of it…
Johnsmith24601ParticipantTo make a melee storm trooper squad… :D
