Thanks Paul for sharing your art. Great to see more different weapons ;)

I’d like to use tower shields on BB, but they reduce 20 max fatigue and I think is too much. It would be interesting to see tower shields created in cities (instead of ancient tower shields) with -16 max fatigue.

I would have a lot of fun if I had the talent of drawing those beautiful armors. The 4 lamellar armours are perfect for BB.

It would be great to see one friday update about new armors and helmets ;)

The armor of the guy wearing the greatsword is new, right?

I’m not a fan of 2 handed weapons for my first line men (long live to shields), but it will be a pleasure to destroy enemies who wear them.

I don’t recognize the armour of the first picture guy. Nice to see new gear too. More than one brother will fall in battle because of these young ladies jeje.

At early-medium stages of the campaign, it would be great to see bandits with a level between the easy thugs and the hard raiders. Something like Hoggart the Weasel level. Bandits with 30-80 armour, shields and normal weapons.

    Hello Paul and BB friends.

I remember, at the beginning, to enter from time to time to this thread to enjoy the great artwork of Paul, when BB was an unknown gem.

Now that a new DLC is coming, have you planed to post some art on this thread like in the past?

Good luck with your 2 projects.

I bring this topic again because in certain combats, enemies are dispersed and attack one by one. I could understand this behaviour in undead enemies, but in BB even human bandits do it. I had an interesting encounter against few poachers some raiders and ¡one bandit leader! When the combat started my group was at the south part of the map and enemies appeared from the shadows totally dispersed, attacking 1 or 2 vs my 12 soldiers. More than a combat it seemed a parade. It was suposed to be a great battle, but the initial disposition of enemies ruined the experience.

On the other hand, when battles start with enemies forming a wall at the right part of the screen, the experience is superb. AI of enemies in BB is one of the best I’ve experienced in combat games. And the combat of BB is epic.

Darkest Dungeon and Battle Brothers are the best games I played in 2016.

Yeah, but, in order to take some rewards, the game forces you complete the mission of ending with Hoggart.

It would be nice to start the campaign in a different place and with a different mission, depending on the background of your leader. A rich character, in a large merchant city, a farmer in a rural village, a veteran soldier in a castle, etc.

    I’m tired of killing Hoggart.

“The Drifters”. I’m in my first walkthrough at 125 day (I play ironman, without reloading saved games if things go bad). At day 55, far from the last village, I fought for the first time against vampires, I fled and only three brothers escaped. Vampires reached my 3 brothers and this time only ONE brother escaped. I could reach a village redo all my entire group ;D

I miss a tower shield, rectangular like romans wore. +25/+25 defence and -18 max fatigue.

It would be great to see procedural bosses/chieftains to fight against. This would make the game much more replayable.
If you beat, for instance, the final boss and his party, you’ll know how to beat him in the next replays. On the other hand, if this final boss is procedural, you can expect new surprises and you must take other strategies to beat him any time you restart new campaigns.
    What do you think guys?

and those groups have chiefs with name?

I don’t like to fight in any campaign always against “Prun” the orc chieftain and his minions ;D

    Thanks for your answer.

I don’t care if I see the same type of contract. What I don’t like is to start again new campaigns and see that I must kill the same group of bandits, with the same number of enemies with the same leader.

It would be perfect to see the same contracts but with different enemies and sizes.

Great work. Nice world map and the video is great. At the moment I see it a little empty of content. It would be great to see ornamental objects like mills, vigilant towers, lighthouses, docks, mines, caves, cattle, wild animals roaming, etc.
