    1. Shrubberies prevents terrain detail to be display on mouse-over. The terrain could be solid ground or swamp – you wouldn’t know until one your men steps on it which can be fatal in the enemy zones you in his turn.

    looks like a usability issue, we’ll see into that.

    2. Total money is not updated after purchasing items in the market screen. The money is still deducted but just doesn’t update until you exit to the main village screen. You can accidentally spend more than intended.

    Thats a bug. We are testing this right now and it seems to happen randomly. Thanks for the hint, we are invetstigating.

    3. Possible bug: I was tasked with locating beasts that’s terrorizing a town on the very edge of the map. Sent 3 days walking around not finding the enemy until the last moment. The roaming enemy (wolves) was patrolling at the very edge of the map. I’m pretty sure I went over that area twice so maybe the enemy was roaming outside the map border?

    Normally the beasts shouldnt stray far from the contract origin. I’ll have an eye on it and see if more people report similar things.

    Hey there,
    the contracts available to you basically depend on your reknown. We are filling in more and more contratcs with regular updates from now on, so you will get more to do.
    Tip: You can accept a contract, negotiate payment and then say you need some time to think about it. This will put the contract on hold and you can return to it to finally accept or you can just click on another contract.

    Regarding Contracts 2:
    We already have 11 more contracts completely designed and written, they only have to be implemented. We try to have an update every week or every other week to fill in more content.

    Regarding the perks:
    We decided to have some very needed basic “fixes” like nerfing Perfect focus. We are on the case and we are going to rework most perks in the near future. Lots of them will be completely exchanged or modified.
    I just have to ask for some more patience in this regeard :)

    Regarding contracts,
    the contract difficulty/enemy composition scales with your reknown as well as your party strength (and difficulty setting!), so the way we designed it you should always be able to tackle all contracts offered to you. We know the balancing there still needs tweaking, but we are absolutely on the case – your feedback is very much appreciated!

    Recently I clear some cementary on Contract and get 2nd contract in chain to kill necromancer.
    I accespted but then contract lead me to enemy CAMP agaist 24 enemy combatants(2 Necromancers, plenty of Skeleton guards).

    If both combats differ greatly in difficulty it’s probably a bug. It would be great if you could give me some specifics about the circumstances (reknown, difficulty setting, average level of your guys etc.) That would help finding the bug or balance error.

    Regarding the hidden traits we have this discussion going on for quite a while now. Basically since the EA launch :)

    I can understand that people want all infos on the mercs, but if you can see all characteristics in advance we would have to balance all traits to make sure every man is evenly strong. Because otherwise the “bad” guys would never get hired and we could remove them from the game right away.
    I dont enjoy that kind of min-maxing and I personally dont think the impact of the traits is so strong that someone becomes completely useless.

    Its basically a design decision you have to take (similiar to the floating damage numbers issue) :)

    Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback.
    Let me adress all issues in reversed order.

    1. I got some silver trophies, the base price is 1400 and 700. Sell them I can max (checked all cities) for 400 and 200, respectively. They need to sell to someone special? I do low fame and glory?

    For every item you sell you will always only get a certain margin of the original worth (a third or smthng). The only exception are trading goods. Try to sell items in bigger cities as prices generally tend to be higher there.

    2. These trophies as well as some products (such as precious stones, and even mmm ham ! I can put in my pocket :). For what? Just another slot? for the future? Amuse vanity silver ring in the pocket? :)

    The Ham serves as food for your company, the other items are just special loot items to have something else to loot and sell than just gold coins. Normally the tooltip should explain if something is useful or just to be sold.

    Hey Love Gun,
    I think those are all nice ideas to make a more varied crowd and further enhance the atmosphere. But honestly its just eye candy at the end of the day. I can only deliver what is really neccessary and then move on to the next topic. So the small variety of people have to suffice for now :)

    Regarding the merchant with the donkey, he was part of the “specialized trader” building. It didnt end up in the game because we decided to not focus that much on trading. Maybe we will implement it in a future iteration of the game.

    You mean, in this next update there will be other mercenary bands??

    Yes :)
    For the upcoming update they will only appear in the context of events and contracts where they take a special role (you have to fight them, they chase you, you talk them etc). Our plan for the final release is to have them acting more independently, but we will see how far we get with this, as there are lots of other things to take care of.

    Most probably not. The Bannerguys are special units for the noble houses just like the berserkers are special units for the Orcs.

    will there be other mercenaries about in the world of BB?

    Yes. You may encounter them during contracts or maybe someone hires them to kill you when you double-crossed your employer :)

    Haha, unfortunately not :) Its been a really rough week for me and even rougher for you guys not getting any artwork stuff to look at :)

    Would it be possible to upload our own banners (.jpg,.png…) to the game?

    Hey there,
    I dont want to kill your buzz, but probably not. It would require quite a bit of work on our side and as always: time is tight.
    Theres a TON of stuff we want to add and some of it wont make it unfortunately :(

    t the ULTIMATE unique factor would be: If we could do a bit of a “character creation process”

    Just last week we had a meeting discussing this point. We have some ideas floating around regarding a series of questions you answer when starting a new game to determine your exact starting conditions/passive boni etc.
    Its all pretty unstable though yet. Our focus lies 100% on the worldmap update now and after that we will decide on the final release feature list.
