#Bring shields. Grab better one or bring spare.
#Spear wall can be useful for a moment but only against young ones. Against heavies it will tire you and leave you to exhausted to fight.
#Try to get higher grounds and flank with two handed swords. Split work great.
#Bring axes if you want, bigger one for splitting shields fast.
#Maces have good dmg and work well against armour. Also give enemy fatigue. Tired orc will have less chance to kill you or raise his shield.
#Did I mention shields? bring a lot of good ones.
#’Rally the troops is essential’ against older orcs. Get two officers who have it(it get nerfed).
#Bring spare weapon. Adult orcs have tons of heavy armour. Low level tier weapons break fast.
#Young one and berserkers can dish some dmg but die easily. Adults can tons of dmg and stay alive forever.
#Crossbow or experienced archer will help. Veteran archer with spare arrows and with 6 offensive perks can go medieval on orcs from close range.

    That is good to hear.
Do you consider also option that bigger parties are much more visible to smaller one?
So small party even slower can just notice bigger enemy party and run from it before get spotted?

I thought about four factors that can influence enemy Party behaviour.
    Self-preservation(fear)
    Hunger
    Greed
    Mission
#Werewolfs hunt for food they don’t care about possible wealth. They choose easiest target first but avoid stronger parties.
#Scout parties have mission to gather information. They avoid fight, unless enemy is much weaker but they don’t pursuit it long because mission first.
#Raiding Bandits parties attack all targets of opportunity but avoid stronger parties. They come here to get rich not get killed.
#Orcs look more to prove themselves than get rich. They will look for fight and they can be quite persistent in pursuit.
#Undead priority mission first. they tend to ignore hostile parties that pose no danger to the mission. When their mission is simply kill that guy and you are the guy they will stalk you forever.

    ### Conquistador was good game but with small replay ability value. Not mention that later battles get repetitive. The little choice in customization or lack proper equipment didn’t help too.

Hm. I must just be unlucky then or werewolf skin count as hard target.
    Yeah probably that.

It would be neat to make different skills cost different amount of durability against different targets.
    But that is low priority.

I was thinking about similar weapon specialization.
If brother use a specific weapon with success(kills, damage) he earn XP for that weapon and weapon family.
#Brother using Short Sword with great success.
#He gain level up in Short swords(also get half or less points in other similar weapons).
#Bonus levels in weapon specialisations can give a brother bonus chance to hit with this weapon or bigger damage or some additional skills.
#Like basic Short Sword skills allow brother use only Slash skill, Normal allow use Riposte, Advanced allow for Thrust(or Penetrate).

Granting various levels for fresh brothers can also make them different(additional tool alongside Traits and Backgrounds and Stats).

Personally I don’t really mind easier levels of difficulty.
What I care is more starting options and possibility to customize your own starting world plus adding some additional custom rules.
#Adding two more difficulty levels(one below and other above normal) sounds good for me.
#Adding some additional options that allow to influence map generation like:
    #Populated world(more villages and watchtowers)
#All I see is plain(less mountains and hills more plains)
#Too much trees can’t see forest(more forest less anything else)
    Also sounds good to me.
#Letting people have influence starting party with options like this:
#You in the army now(start with 3 guys of military background but less cash)
#Time for redemption(start with 3 people with criminal background)
    Also sounds as nice choice.
#Adding some custom rules for global map like this:
    #People militia(better armed militia)
#No need for trash(selling items give you only 1/4 current price)
    #Costly armours(armours cost 2 times more)
    #Costly repair(1 Tools&Supplies unit repair only 5 durability points)
Sounds great for me(I like some additional challenge).

More customisation(that have some effect on gameplay) is good for replayability of game.

    PS.
All praise the mighty IRONMEN mode.
    PS2.
Wonder if we get a Iron Maiden mode for extra difficulty.

Is different weapons or type of attacks against different targets cost more durability than other one?
I once fight lonely swordmaster(all other members die in easy bandit ambush) against pack of 4 werewolf and broke two short swords and one arming sword and was forced to kill last one of the, with a fist.
It like one hit on werewolf cost weapon 4 durability.
    It was really frustrating.
I really enjoy this game a lot but damn that was a bad moment.

    I notice this too.
    Its just caravan self-preservation instinct.
They try to avoid danger and move around it.
I have similar situation. The caravan move backward then try to move trough mountains but after moment it come back to road.
Just Pay attention to the escorted caravan.
    null
Bonus pic of 4 my guys(3 militia men plus one hunter) fighting lonely fight against overwhelming number of bloodthirsty savege orcs.

    Free People Militia.
    #Actually
Sellswords but I get 2 good Militiamen and one Hunter plus one more Militiamen was waiting for me in the Inn.
Right now its fairly low level company consisted by one hunter with great bow skills, two retired soldiers, five(yes, five!) militiamen and one swordmaster with a background about blending between people he once trained.
So now I move between villages and help them with various threats.

I really would like to be able to see my 3 starters before choosing the company name tbh !

    Seconded.

What about some small items suggestion?
*Head Bandanna – grant bonus resolve
*Lucky charm – grant bonus resolve(or small bonus to defence)
*Magnifying glass – very rare and costly items, increase vision range
*Battle gloves – increase melee skill

In my understanding necromancers were human before they switch. As former humans they can connect and control only former humans. Orcs are too alien for them.
They have different aura and its just simply to for necromancers to control things that they can’t grasp.
Notice that they can’t also reanimate ghouls and their control over them are limited.
