Hi there, our partner Ukiyo – who is doing the porting – is working hard to get it all done. Porting the game is quite the undertaking so things are taking longer than initially anticipated. Chances are high, that the port will not make it this year. Of course we will let you know as soon as we have news on the topic!

thanks for sending over the files!I tested the save and it looks like you had a very unlucky worldmap generation. There are 4 undead locations close by and all are generated with a lot of enemy troop points, that is true.
However, there are other locations around that are manageable, like a hut with 4 Orc young and similar but you happened to not find those.The enemy troop composition will change whenever you engage a camp as camps do have a troop point pool that they use to “buy” units. The units themselves are not fixed. This is so that the camps can get more points as the campaign progresses to increase their strenght without being stuck at certain troop compositions.
The locations that are generated outside of contracts do not scale that much to player level so some of them are not beatable in the early game. Most do hold great treasures though that have to be guarded by according troops.
In your Save you could try looking Northeast of Krauchwall or Southeast of Hohenwacht for smaller enemy Camps. Enemy camps are constantly generated throughout a campaign so the situation will change later as well.

There have been very few reports of a similar problem. We do not have a sure solution for this but there are some things that helped in other cases:
– Verify the integrity of the game files through Steam: Load Steam. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select “Properties” from the menu. Select the “Local Files” tab and click the “Verify integrity of game cache…” button. Steam will verify the game’s files – this process may take several minutes.
– Unplug your headphones (which are you using, if any?) and use speakers, see if the problme persists with a different audio output device.
– De-activate the latest DLC, launch the game and close it and re-activate it through Steam.

please try the following and see if that helps:Changing settings via the Nvidia control panel (if you are a Nvidia user)
Restart your computer if you already attempted to start the game.
Open up the Nvidia control panel.
Go to “Power Management”, change it to “Highest Performance” instead of “Adaptive” (this can also be set specifically for Battle Brothers instead of using the global setting).
Start Battle Brothers normally.If that does not solve the issue please send us the log.html to “contact@overhypestudios.com” as the upload does not work with this forum.

The visual fragments can be caused by some outdated mods. Please make sure to delete all mods and give it another try.
To be sure you should delete all game files manually from here: C:\Steam\steamapps\common and reinstall through Steam.Let us know if that did not solve the issue.

You should try a fresh install through Steam after manually deleting the game folder from here: C:\Steam\steamapps\common

Please try to reinstall the game by first deleting the game folder manually from here: C:\Steam\steamapps\common and then doing a fresh install through Steam. This has helped in similar cases.Could you also send us the log.html directly by mail to “contact@overhypestudios.com”? Thanks
