The King’s Ransom retains only one member from the original party that set out… and not a founder.
What’s a Hugo without a Trutwin, Bahltasar, or Bertolf? (I do like my list)
@ Rap! But please tell me that you don’t like some of the names I posted :D – I tried to very much go with the Battle Brothers theme… if a name didn’t sound good as pronounced by Jaysen I didn’t include it ;p
Guys, relax, as much as we all our suffering the cutthroat nature of the gaming industry, plus the fact this is an overworked 3-man dev team means you are not going to get answers to that question
That place looks both inviting and uninviting :D ….. a suggestion: stick some kind of “True Detectives” style spirit totem (skulls handing on a stick or a scalp or a squirrel skeleton) next to the doorway
I love the cat but also the thumped orc (last one)
Missile defense dodge – shield expertise – better weapon maintenance? – likes to get bloody (morale boost?) – heavy Armour proficiency – Strength -damage and resistance boost? – free cat food? (just kidding love the 9 lives too) – inspires others around him? shield wall leader? – no helmet penalties – light footed… can twinkle their way out of enemy ZoC – can fire a defensive shot when an enemy moves into range? – can switch with fellow BB? – resists all types of freeze effects – can knock an opponent unconscious more effectivelly
Hehe, honestly for some traits it was really difficult to find Icons.
The blurred Goblin is “Short sighted”
The peace sign is actually supposed to symbolize “swearing and oath” and is for “loyal”. The opposite is the crossed fingers for “disloyal”.
The broken Plate is “clumsy”
The salt is supposed to be rice and stands for “spartan” (this character consumes less food). the opposte is the big steak for “glutton” (this character consumes more food).
Well its still very well done :) … these are original and aesthetic. The bulging belt? Bavarian? :p
Really great! I assume the wine is glass half-empty half-full :D
You have a knack for detail paul… you could really improve, but would really suffer with one of the gaming monoliths like Creative Assembly or Firaxis where such detail becomes industrialized.
Love the lightning, cat, lungs, brawn… and am very curious about the out-of-focus goblin, the salt, the peace sign fingers, the broken plate and others
Amazing! They are so fantastic even at high res…. any chance we could be able to have a zoom-in tool tip? Or something where we can click on them, see the big icon and see a big description?
Beautiful and mood setting as always Paul!
You have a real knack for detail… the blood red dice… the rabies-infused mad man… the thoroughly cracked skull with dagger…
It has its own very elegant style, and I think it will be highly accepted by the fans. All of the art is really well done, the damage model and armour damage is highly appealing
The busts are great! The expressions and animations are tasteful and engaging…5. March 2015 at 13:24 in reply to: Few questions about strategic and tactical parts of the game #1647
I really agree about the lack of appeal of 2-handed weapons at the moment… even heavy armour.. good points and good questions
Thanks for the feedback Jaysen!
Sorry for double post, but I don’t see an edit post option.
Have any of you tried Darkest Dungeon? Its currently the biggest Early Access indie success on Steam.
One of the main points is character psychology… and loads of features at the town to help deal with the stress of missions and combat. This is something highly innovative that really won over thousands of fans… seeing this type of parameters in BB going forward would be absolutely prime.
This would be a bit X-Comish but a good idea :)
