IgniferroqueParticipant
It can be a hit or miss proposition. Depending on how aggressively you’ve cleared out enemy bases, enemies may or may not spawn. Also, if a company from one of the noble houses has cleared out the area recently, you may not find many enemies to kill. I would say that this contract has the most profit potential of any contract.
IgniferroqueParticipantI’ve saved a copy of the log file since it exceeds the allowed file size. If you need it, let me know how you want me to get it to you.
IgniferroqueParticipantAlso, what changes to fatigue, if any are coming in the next patch? Are the developers happy with where fatigue is at? I understand the need to make things more difficult from where you could walk around in full plate armor, carrying an extra shield and a goblin crossbow. However the two changes above combined with the removal of the rallying cry ability to which reduced everyone’s fatigue in a 5 hex radius – whatever it was called – has gone too far in the other direction.
IgniferroqueParticipantAfter the update today, I did more testing. It appears that the slowness is limited to a specific save game. I’ve uploaded it (except the save game is larger than the file limit size so I didn’t upload it).
You’ll see that there’s slowness in movement across the world map screen and, if you get into a fight, there’ll be slowness in the animations during the fight.
I’ll continue playing from an earlier save that doesn’t have the problem and see if the issue reoccurs.
IgniferroqueParticipantI’m also showing a difference between the sum of my upkeep on the mercenary screen and the value listed in the tool tip for my total money. From the mercenary screen, I should be paying out 287 but according to the tool tip, I’m paying 426 per day. If I had to guess, the values on the mercenary screen aren’t being updated every time they ask for a raise and I give them one.
IgniferroqueParticipantAlso, if you sell more Heater Shields. They are best for melee defense but Orcs have a bad habit of chopping them in half.
IgniferroqueParticipantThere is no incentive to fight Orcs at present. Beyond the wear and tear on equipment – especially shields – and the lack of rewards, the likelihood of losing a mercenary is just too high. With goblins at least, you can attack at night and use dogs to reduce the advantages they have in number and ranged weapons. But with Orcs dogs get one-shot and arrows/bolts do nothing against highly armored Orc Warriors.
IgniferroqueParticipantJust registered so I could add my voice to the frustration with the randomness of skill increases. Melee skill is so much more important than the others, it is a problem. It is especially problematic since there appears to be a bias against leveling melee. I regularly see opportunities to add 4 to other skills but have never had a single chance to improve melee by 4.
