scarynedParticipantThis title looks so cool. Really brings out the grit of the game compared to the old one.
RL
scarynedParticipantthat’s true! I second that since it’s a nice and easy touch to make.
RL
scarynedParticipantName: Gold Reapers
Background: Petty farmers grow mad against the merciless tax collectors, so they rounded up crude weapons and drunken neighbours and murdered anyone with worth to their name in the frenzied villas. Their lust for noble blood and bloody gold grows bolder by the murder. If it weren’t for clever opportunists and natural leaders among the mob, they’d all be bandits in no time.
Pole: A farmers pitchfork holding up a centered banner. Golden jewelry entangles the prongs, drooping across the banner like cobwebs or vines.
Banner: A bundle of golden wheat and a blood covered sickle crossing each other like pirate bones. There’s A darkly coloured background to contrast with the bright yellow wheat symbol and shimmering gold.
RL
scarynedParticipantCompany Name: The Iron Boar, led by Wilfred the Butcher.
Company Name of descendants after the second era (map update): The Iron Piglets, led by Falk Meat, youngest son of Rupert the Dragon :P
The Iron Boar ended their crusade attacking the Orcish Citadel at the heart of their territory. a legendary battle against 3 times the amount of orcs took place at the end of the first era/update. among the orcs were more than 30 Orcish warriors and 1 Orc Leader.
The Elite Iron Boar fought valiantly and victoriously.
2 died that battle and the rest of them retired at lvl 11.
All of them were very unique characters.
One of them, Rupert the Dragon, could wear fully plated armour and helm with a great sword and still have 98 fatigue points to work with. He was originally a brawler hired in a sack cloth and fought his first battle with a stick, killing someone with an axe and shield, becomeing my best fighter after that. One of my nobles complained about Rupert having such an unfairly high pay. My first worry was that Rupert would kill him for even mentioning his low born status. XD
Another, Wilfried the Butcher, was originally a butcher naturally named Wilfried the Butcher when hired. He had a shield named The Butchers Warden, with a butchers cleaver as a side arm. He had everything short of blood lust to be a true Butcher.
I miss them all… :(
RL
scarynedParticipantYou could make these special banners unlock-able after performing certain feats, like killing 3 people in the woods with one archer/hunter to unlock the green flag, or have a Brother kill someone while dying of blood loss to unlock the last flag. That would be very satisfying to show off your achievements.

scarynedParticipantlast idea of the day involves giant spiders.
A beast that could be the most nimble among all others. they’re super fast, and have a large amount of stamina (or have actions that aren’t very fatiguing)
They can shoot webbing nets onto their opponent, and their bites have the same venom as that of goblins (which could be the very source of poison the goblins use on their blades). They also have superior morality since they’re insectile mind isn’t muddled with fear or moral reasoning.
They’re also immune to the aim bonuses of spears since they’re legs and small body aren’t ideal targets for stabbing.
What they lack is health. a sliver of health really. two stabs with a butter knife is all it takes, so long as you can land them.
They’re horrible at penetrating armour. Even clothing stands a good chance of protecting the individual from a venomous bite.
They also barely do any damage. it would take numerous bites from numerous spiders to bring a person down for good.
A monster like this makes me wonder how Paul would make a spider, since they don’t have an actual head or shoulders that all other units have on the battlefield. would you draw the whole thing? or add just the body with no legs?
RL
scarynedParticipantGiants would be an interesting addition as well. They could have the most health out of any other unit, including orc warlords. They’re super slow, and if they’re fighting along side bandits or beasts, they will have no problem swinging around and hitting everybody. And their attack is tremendous, and can send battle brothers flying two tiles away. but they only attack once per turn, and they can’t attack at all if they move one tile.
they’re also much easier to scare away than you’d think. they’re size hides the fact that they have the intelligence of a toddler, and may run away in the heat of combat, despite odds being in their favour.
that’s my idea of an interesting giant to face in battle. maybe they could work along side bandits, or just hang with any beast-folk who pass by, taking scraps that the beasts leave behind after a battle, which he can help out in.
RL
scarynedParticipantI would love to see an alpha dire wolf. The new dire-wolf rework is WAY more intimidating then the original ware wolves (just cause they’re so intimidating looking :D )
But a great addition this remake of wolves would be an alpha wolf, who howls to rally his pack or even calls in reinforcements hiding in the shadows of nearby foliage!
Or, now that Dire-Wolves are the main staple of the beast faction, a battle hardened Ware Wolf of the old times could lead them. Making them superior in moral and stamina and health points compared to dire wolves, as well as being much smarter for their experience and half human mind.
RL
scarynedParticipantOR A MINIGUN!!!
RL
scarynedParticipantRAY GUNS!!!
Or maybe a spiked shield which gives similar benifits to the shield bash perk under the utilities skills (and can stack with the perk) but is super heavy and not any more protective than a round shield. Tier 3 or 2.
RL
scarynedParticipantIt sounds like you’re giving advice to an archer against targets behind foliage, matrix style.
“There is no tree”

scarynedParticipantI believe you should be allowed to camp as a caravan. If your troops are wounded, you should have the ability to stop the caravan and camp. The caravan would have to stop for you if they want to make it there alive.
You could even turn it into another contract event where you have to persuade the busy merchant to wait for you.
Unless you can do that already.
RL
scarynedParticipantI would check the port options on the first problem. If it’s east then it has to be on an island.
And I second the second point. Only because I agree with the patrol quest problem
RL
scarynedParticipantthanks! I’ll look for it there.
