RahzielParticipantThere shouldn’t be any blackness, just campfire, light and smoke from it:
It’s something on your side. Maybe you should check you video card’s drivers?
I guess, it didn’t like illumination.. and transparency?
RahzielParticipantI certainly do! Been annoyed many times while browsing map in search of locations.
It would really help if zoom would be centered on mouse pointer location. (at least with mousewheel, as keyboard-zoom-ppl might disagree)
Or you can make it an option in ‘control’ settings.
RahzielParticipantI like it the way it is, maybe just a bit more polish and usability improvements here and there.
I’m even sceptical about “fully skinned UI”, but time will tell how good it is.What parts of UI are lacking (and what exactly) in your opinion ?
RahzielParticipantAnother suggestions for the UI completely unrelated to first post:
1. Could it be possible to have worldmap’s Daytime indicator visible while in town?
It might help to know when to expect next paytime – is it close or not, and can you afford to spend these scarce crowns you have left or should you sell something instead..2. Related to 1st entry, Tooltip for Crowns doesn’t display total daily wage if amount you have is less than that, and same for Provisions if you have less than two days amount (which is weird, should be 1 day, especially since it’s consumed gradually, not as one time payment).
I think this information should be displayed regardless of having enough food and money (and warning if you lack it), just to be able to know how much you need to scrape your pockets in market to survive one more day.
RahzielParticipantAlso, on another note, just today i noticed i can move the text input cursor to beginning and end of line with [up] and [down] directional keys,
while [Home] and [End] keys do nothing, thought that should be their job.. It just feels more natural that way.Can you assign them too? Thank you.
RahzielParticipantThis time it’s a simple typo:
> “Leave it there at your free. …” – should be “at your feet“, according to context.
RahzielParticipantHere is another type of error associated with contracts:
In one town, named Harlingen were available 2 contracts – Patrol and Delivery, both were negotiated and Patrol contract accepted.
One day later after battles and visiting two other towns Brothers returned to Harlingen completing Patrol contract, there previously
negotiated Delivery contract was still available. Opening negotiations and trying to Accept it did nothing, but return to town screen..
Save and Reload fixed it.Reproducible 100%: load ‘2 contracts.sav’, negotiate both, and complete patrol.
saves and log attached.

RahzielParticipantYou (and everyone else) can cross narrow straits of water, so..
About that. For the sake of clarity and understanding, can you make water tiles at least 1 tile away from shore in every direction a darker shade to make it look deeper and unpassable ?
RahzielParticipantI got one Surface Iron Vein on water on my first world generation too.
RahzielParticipantThe skeletons are essentially warriors that perished in past battles, so shouldn’t their armor and headgear have ‘wounds’ inflicted in a fight? Not just rust, but some serious damage that resulted in an owner’s death?
these guys have been lying in the ground for ages
But the mantles (cloth capes) look like new!! Only buckle covered in rust..
They are very cool, but according to setting absolutely out of place: the capes shouldn’t exist in their attire, because you’d imagine any sort of cloth would completely rot in a decade, and in a century only buckle would be left.
Unless they visited a store in a local village and dressed up expecting your visit.
RahzielParticipantI think you just need to hire 12 farmers :)”
Well, it could also be fishermen or shepherds.. maybe vagabond.
If you think about it, it could be on any peasant background. Will we get some kind or headwear for lumberjacks as well, like headband?
What do you think is this one: historian or bard?

RahzielParticipantStraw Hat is EPIC!!
Will have to gather 12 of them, even if it means hiring new guys just for it. (*_*) -
